Hugh J.

Hugh J. has had several roles in the field of manufacturing science and technology. Hugh is currently working as a Senior Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Scientist at Touchlight since April 2022. Prior to this, from April 2020 to April 2022, they worked at Lonza as an Associate Principal Scientist, focusing on manufacturing science and technology for new product introductions and technology transfers. Hugh also has experience working at Eli Lilly and Company, where they served as a Technical Services/Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) Bioprocess Chemist - Operations from December 2013 to April 2020. In addition, they have internship experience at Wellcome Trust as a Summer Intern in the Technology Transfer Division in July and August 2012, and at Novartis as a Summer Intern in the Quality department from June to September 2011.

Hugh J. holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemical Engineering from UCL. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Joint Honours in General Business and Management from Imperial College Business School. Hugh also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Joint Honours in Biotechnology with Management from Imperial College London. Additionally, Hugh J. completed their A Levels in subjects such as Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Japanese at Richmond upon Thames College.
