Raam Thakrar

Raam Thakrar has been working in the business industry since 1997. Raam began their career as an Intern at the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group). In 1998, they were an Intern at the Permanent Mission of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations. In 1999, they were a Stagiaire with the European Commission DG Industry. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Kaiser Associates, and then as a New Business Coordinator at Chemonics. In 2006, they were a Consultant at DAI Europe Ltd. From 2016 to the present, they have been a Trustee at Grief Encounter. Additionally, they have been a Founder at TouchNote since 2007 and is currently a Founder at Own Your Money.

Raam Thakrar's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in International Politics from the University of Birmingham (1995-1998), a Master of Science in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) (1999-2000), and a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10ksb) programme from UCL / Said Business School (2012-2013). Raam also attended Merchant Taylors School, but did not receive any certifications.
