Ian Woolley

Ian Woolley has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technical Officer at TouchStar Technologies, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Technical Development Manager at the same company from 2020 to 2021, and as the Software Development and Support Manager from 2018 to 2020.

Before joining TouchStar Technologies, Ian worked at Intercede as the Software Development Manager from 2014 to 2018. Ian also worked at Fujitsu Telecommunications, where they held various roles including Embedded Software Team Lead from 2011 to 2014, Software Engineer from 2008 to 2011, and Software Developer on a contract basis from 2007 to 2008.

Ian's career also includes roles such as Managing Director at Hexium Limited from 2007 to 2009, Senior Staff Engineer at Motorola from 2002 to 2007, and Senior Staff Engineer (Software) at Motorola Computer Group from 2001 to 2007.

Furthermore, they worked at TNT Post Group as a Senior Software Test Developer from 1998 to 2001, at Blue Wave Systems Ltd as a System & Software Test Developer from 1996 to 1998, at Loughborough Sound Images as a System & Software Test Developer from 1994 to 1996, and at Wireline Technologies Ltd as a Senior Hardware Test Engineer from 1990 to 1994.

Ian Woolley attended De Montfort University from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
