Donna Spafford is an experienced health consultant and standardized patient with a diverse background in healthcare policy, clinical education, and project management. Currently serving at Touchstone Institute since October 2018, Donna plays a crucial role in simulating patient experiences for clinical training. As the founder of Gemini Healthworks Inc since 2004, Donna has managed projects focused on evidence-based clinical guidelines and health policy in the not-for-profit sector. Previous roles include consulting for Osteoporosis Canada and the International Osteoporosis Foundation, where responsibilities encompassed partnership development, policy support, and coordination of clinical programs. Donna's early career at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals involved collaboration with healthcare leaders in various specialties. Educationally, Donna holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, a Public Health Diploma from Dalhousie University, and is a licensed RN from the Montreal General Hospital School of Nursing.
