Touchstone Institute
Janelle Hanna is an accomplished acting instructor and theatre professional with a diverse background in education and performance. Currently serving as an Acting Instructor at Hart House Theatre since September 2023, Janelle also teaches introductory acting courses at York University, where responsibilities include guiding students through foundational concepts in acting. With extensive experience as a Senior Track Leader and Standardized Patient at Touchstone Institute, Janelle manages simulation environments for medical training. Additional roles include Computerized Notetaker at George Brown College, Actor and Team Building Facilitator with Conundrum Adventures, and a Census Crew Leader for Statistics Canada. Janelle has directed youth productions and has a strong foundation in customer service and program coordination, reinforced by education credentials including an MFA in Theatre from York University and a BA along with a Diploma in Acting from the University of Toronto Mississauga/Sheridan College.
