Emma Vidgen

Emma Vidgen is a seasoned professional in content creation and media management, currently serving as the Creative and Content Leader at Tourism and Events Queensland since July 2024. Emma founded The Wayward Studio in June 2018, a consultancy specializing in fashion, lifestyle, and wellbeing content strategies. Prior to this, Emma held the position of Head of Content at Tonic Media Network from October 2022 to July 2024, overseeing the network's cross-platform content strategy. Emma's experience includes serving as Category Lifestyle Director at Are Media Pty Ltd, managing a team dedicated to producing lifestyle content, and working as a Law Clerk at Johnson Winter & Slattery. Emma's background in editorial roles includes significant tenures at Bauer Media Australia and Lifestyle.com.au. Academically, Emma holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Journalism from Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
