Bruce Marpole is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, marketing, and business development. Currently serving as the Director of Communications, Marketing and Business Development at Tourism Canmore Kananaskis since February 2022, Bruce leads sustainable destination growth through strategic initiatives. Previously, Bruce held the position of Marketing Communications Manager at the same organization, and worked in communications at the Town of Banff, focusing on visitor experience and economic development. As the owner of Hero Shirts, a successful start-up, Bruce demonstrated entrepreneurial skills by transforming a concept into a profitable business within two years. Bruce's background also includes business and retail management roles at The Nuance Group, along with consulting experience at Shift Consulting Inc. Bruce holds a BA in Psychology from Concordia University and an Extension Certificate in Public Relations from Mount Royal University.
