Bjoern Spreitzer

Bjoern Spreitzer is an experienced leader in the tourism industry, currently serving as the General Manager for New Zealand and Business Events at Tourism New Zealand since November 2006. With a progressive career at the organization, Bjoern has held various senior roles, including Global Manager Partnerships and Media Planning, General Manager for the Americas and Europe, and Head of International Business Events. Bjoern's responsibilities encompass overseeing commercial partnerships with major companies, managing regional operations, and attracting significant international conferences to New Zealand. Additionally, Bjoern is a director for Qualmark New Zealand and Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA), and serves as Chair at isite New Zealand. Bjoern's career also includes a managerial position with Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH and earlier editorial experience at Media House “Der Neue Tag.” Bjoern holds a degree in International Business and Cultural Studies from Universität Passau.
