Miriam E.

Miriam joined the ToursByLocals team in January 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies and Cultural Studies, and many years of experience in customer service. In 2010, she uprooted herself from Toronto, Canada, and moved across the country to Vancouver. She quickly nestled in, and it has been her home ever since. One of her most memorable travel experiences has been spending two months living and working with rescued farm animals at an animal sanctuary in Northern California. Miriam feels strongly that it’s not necessary to venture over vast distances to have an amazing experience.
