Michelle Nunes

Michelle Nunes is an experienced leader in the tourism and destination management industry, currently serving as the General Manager and Director at Tourvest Destination Management since December 2021. With a strong background in finance, operations, and business analysis, Nunes oversees both the Product division and the Flight division, as well as managing special events with a role in supporting project management for the Young Presidents' Organization. Prior to this, Nunes spent over a decade at TEAM Destination Management as Operations Director Global Sports, managing teams across multiple countries for high-profile global sporting events, which included budgeting and strategic planning. Nunes has held various key positions at Tourvest Inbound Operations and Thompsons Holidays, focusing on project management, product development, and contract negotiation, showcasing a diverse skill set in hospitality and tourism management since starting in the field with Welcome Tourism Services in 1995.
