Daniel Gibbs

Daniel Gibbs has a strong background in software development and web development. Daniel worked as a Web Developer at Tourwriter, where they developed both the front-end and back-end of the company's flagship SaaS product using JavaScript with React, Material UI, Express, and Feathers frameworks. Daniel also designed and maintained cloud infrastructure using various AWS services. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at SaferMe and shinywhitebox, where they gained experience in software development. Daniel also worked as a Web Developer at RealVNC, where they were involved in all aspects of internal and external web systems, including the corporate website and internal sales systems. Daniel worked on full-stack development, including HTML/CSS/JS, Apache configuration, and devops. Daniel also developed in-house sales systems and worked extensively on the corporate website. Daniel has experience with HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, AngularJS, Python, PHP, Apache/mod_wsgi, Selenium, Jenkins, and Ubuntu Linux. Prior to that, they worked at Imezio Ltd., where they supported the CEO in programming, product development, system networking, and troubleshooting.

Daniel Gibbs attended Victoria University of Wellington from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc Hons) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in December 2019.
