Ben Barnes

Ben Barnes is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Currently serving as the Director of Continuous Improvement and the Director of Product Engineering at Tovala since June 2019, Ben has also held significant leadership roles as Engineering Director and Managing Partner at The Product Manufactory since April 2014. Prior experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at the Construction Engineering Research Lab for the Army Corps of Engineers from August 2010 to April 2014 and serving as an Engineer and Community Development Facilitator with Engineers Without Borders in Nigeria from May 2008 to May 2010. Additionally, Ben briefly worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the Building Research Council in 2010.
