Towards Employment
Karen Carter-Bell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in employment services and outreach. Currently serving as a Work Experience Specialist for Towards Employment since September 2016, Karen focuses on identifying job opportunities for youth program participants and engaging with employers. As an Employment Specialist at the West Side Catholic Center since March 2014, Karen assists a diverse population, including homeless and disabled individuals, in securing employment through effective job development activities. Previous roles include Supported Employment Specialist, Cafeteria Manager, Student Services Coordinator, Career Services Advisor, and Career Advisor Coordinator, showcasing a strong background in job placement, career development, and client support. Education includes training in Specification Writing and participation in a Fair Housing Seminar, both provided by the City of Cleveland.
