Alyssa Shilk

Alyssa Shilk is an experienced Activities Coordinator at Tower Behavioral Health since November 2022, previously serving as Activities Director at Rose City Nursing and Rehab of Lancaster from September 2021 to November 2022. In these roles, Alyssa managed staff, utilized the PCC website for resident activity evaluations, and conducted MDS assessments. Prior experience includes working as a School Age Teacher at St Pauls Christian Early Learning Center, where training and managing Assistant/Floating Teachers was a key responsibility, as well as serving as a Transitional Kindergarten Teacher at KinderCare Education Centers, where age-appropriate lesson plans were developed and strong relationships with children were fostered. Alyssa also worked as an Activity Leader at Mohonk Mountain House, assisting guests across various demographics. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
