Amy Pomponio currently serves as the Director of Quality and Performance Improvement at Tower Behavioral Health, a position held since 2022. Prior to this role, Amy was the Director of Health Information Management at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern Pennsylvania, where responsibilities included acting as the HIPAA Officer to ensure compliance with security and confidentiality regulations. Our hospital provides targeted treatment through a mood disorders unit,a general psychiatric unit, a co-occurring and specialty eating disorders program . We treat individuals who are experiencing acute crises from mental health concerns such as bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, self-harm, psychotic disorders, suicidal ideation, posttraumatic stress disorder,personality disorders and acute eating disorders . Our evidence-based treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, wellness recovery action plan (WRAP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation. We also provide patients with pharmacotherapy and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) when appropriate. Multidisciplinary teams consist of psychiatrists, registered nurses, behavioral health associates, social workers, case managers, psychologists, psychotherapists, educators, and occupational therapists. Each professional carefully evaluates patients to identify their unique needs and provide customized services that best suit their circumstances.
