Kim Martin is a Vice President of TEP who oversees both the civil and survey departments. She is originally from Wilmington, NC, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at North Carolina State University. During her undergraduate studies, she was an intern at TEP, and post-graduation, began her full-time career with them while continuing to pursue her Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering also from NCSU. Her early training consisted of civil site design, tower inspections, and structural analyses. Her talents in project management and client relations led her back to the civil department and eventually took on the additional responsibility of overseeing TEP’s survey department.
In her current role, she works closely with her team of division managers, project managers, and project engineers who strive to provide a quality product and exceptional customer service. She is also a vital part of TEP’s continuous efforts to increase efficiency in data tracking and financial reporting. At the Heros of Telecom awards, she was named a finalist for the “Most Influential Woman in Telecom” because of her efforts.
