Aic Peter A. Abascal

Peter A. Abascal has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, specifically in litigation. Peter A. currently works at Tower Hill Insurance Group as a Litigation Team Lead since March 2022, where they previously served as a Litigation Examiner from August 2019 to June 2022. Prior to Tower Hill, Peter worked at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company as a Litigation Examiner from April 2017 to July 2019. Peter A. also gained experience at Assurant Specialty Property as a P&C Associate Claims Adjuster from May 2014 to April 2017. Before entering the insurance industry, Peter worked as a Server at La Gorce Country Club from January 2013 to November 2013. Peter A. also has experience in the hospitality industry, working as a Guest Services representative at Hampton Inn and Suites from September 2012 to December 2012. Additionally, Peter worked as a Server at Landry's Restaurants from January 2012 to September 2012. Peter A. has also held roles as a Sales Coordinator and Student Representative at the 17th Annual CMAA Sunshine Region Charity Golf Tournament from June 2012 to November 2012, and as an Event Intern at Spherion Staffing Services from June 2011 to January 2012.

Peter A. Abascal, AIC pursued their education in a chronological manner. Peter A. started their educational journey at Christopher Columbus High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma between the years 2004 and 2008. Following this, they attended the University of Central Florida for the period from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hospitality Management.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Peter A. Abascal, AIC has also attained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. Peter A. obtained the Food Protection Manager certification from Servsafe in April 2012. In December 2011, they attained the Certified Beer Server certification from Cicerone. Peter A. furthered their professional development by becoming an ACA Accredited Claims Adjuster-All Lines Adjuster through the Florida Department of Financial Services in June 2014. In September 2017, they acquired the Certified Claims Professional certification from CLM Alliance (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance). Most recently, in March 2023, they obtained the Associate in Claims certification from The Institutes. Additionally, they hold a CPR and AED certification from the American Safety & Health Institute, obtained in February 2020.
