Gregory Spear

Gregory Spear, M.S.Ed., has extensive experience in educational leadership and teaching, currently serving as Interim Assistant Head of Upper School at Tower Hill School since July 2011. Responsibilities include partnering with the Head of Upper School to lead faculty and curriculum development, overseeing a Student Support team, and implementing student support plans. Previous roles at Tower Hill School include Dean of the Class of 2026, teacher of various grade levels, and Head Varsity Wrestling Coach, where successful program management and team achievements were noted. Additionally, Gregory has served in various leadership capacities, including Interim History Department Chair and Faculty Development Chair. Prior experience includes teaching at Nativity Preparatory School as an AmeriCorps Resident Teacher. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s in Secondary Education from Wilmington University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from William & Mary.
