Michael Girondo

Michael Girondo is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Managing Director at TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. since April 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners, LLC from October 2016 to March 2022, and previously served as Managing Director at AB for a brief period in 2016. Michael's earlier experience includes leadership roles such as Head of Capital Markets at Varagon Capital Partners and Director of Credit Opportunities at Citi. Michael began his career at JP Morgan, where roles included Vice President in both Syndicated & Leveraged Finance and Fixed Income Capital Markets, along with an Analyst position in Telecom, Media & Technology Investment Banking. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Economics from The George Washington University.
