John Alessi

John Alessi is currently the Senior Transportation Planner for the Town of Arlington, MA, where responsibilities include managing consultants on street redesign projects and implementing capital projects. Previously, John served as the first Transportation Planner for the City of Malden, focusing on creating a community-based vision for a multi-modal transportation network. Additionally, John worked as a Sustainable Mobility Coordinator at MassDOT, contributing to the expansion of access to multi-modal transportation in the Commonwealth. John holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont.
