Kaylee Abato

Public Health Sanitarian at TOWN OF BROOKLINE

Kaylee Abato, MPH, currently serves as a Public Health Sanitarian and Senior Health Inspector for the Town of Brookline since March 2023. Prior to this role, Kaylee worked as an Environmental Health Inspector at the Newton Health and Human Services Department from May 2022 to March 2023, and as a Research Assistant for the CHORUS study at Boston Medical Center from September 2021 to May 2022. Kaylee also gained experience as an Environmental Health Intern at the Brookline Department of Health and as a Graduate Student Assistant at Boston University while pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health. Additional experience includes an internship with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and various roles with The Service Collaborative from August 2017 to December 2020, culminating in a Program Manager position. Kaylee began their professional journey as a Corps Member with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, focusing on disaster relief, education, farming, and home construction. Kaylee holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Early Childhood from the University at Buffalo.
