Garrett Irwin

Garrett Irwin is a Solutions Architect at the Town of Canmore since August 2019, focusing on the organization's Cloud Strategy and the comprehensive adoption of Microsoft Azure. Previously, Garrett served as a Desktop Support Specialist, enhancing user/device management systems and transitioning Endpoint Management to Microsoft Intune. At The Lake Louise Ski Resort, Garrett worked as a Software Developer from May 2016 to January 2019, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining in-house systems using languages such as GoLang, Java, PHP, and SQL. Earlier experience includes a term as a Novice IT Guru at the Calgary Airport Authority. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems from Mount Royal University, completed in 2018, and attended Bowness High School from 2010 to 2012.
