Barbara Reardon

Barbara Reardon has extensive work experience as a Civil Engineer, with roles in various companies throughout their career. Barbara started their career in 1987 at Norwood Engineering as a Civil Engineer and worked there until 1989. From 1989 to 1992, they worked at Ross Engineering in the same role. Barbara then joined VHB as a Civil Engineer from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they worked at Earth Tech as a Civil Engineer from 1996 to 2000. In 2000, they joined Aaberg Associates as a Civil Engineer and worked there until 2002. Barbara then started their own company named Barbara J Thissell, PE, Inc, DBE, WBE, where they served as the President and worked as a Civil Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Health Director at the Town of Canton, MA, starting in 2017, and also serves as the Canton Town Engineer since November 2017. Their work primarily revolves around designing and permitting commercial and residential projects, specializing in stormwater management systems and septic system design in accordance with Massachusetts regulations.

Barbara Reardon obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Barbara pursued their education at the institute from 1981 to 1985.
