Ed Parvin has extensive experience in urban management and emergency management, currently serving as Deputy Town Manager for the Town of Carolina Beach since July 2005, with additional roles as Interim Town Manager and Assistant Town Manager. Ed's background includes work as Senior Planner and an Emergency Management Trainer for the U.S. Coast Guard, where service began in August 1998. Ed holds a Master of Public Administration in Coastal Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Coastal Resources from North Carolina State University.
