Scott Hettinger

Scott Hettinger currently serves as a Captain for the Town of Carolina Beach since May 2023. Prior to this role, Scott Hettinger was a Product Owner and Digital Forensics Analyst at Grayshift from October 2021 to May 2023. With a substantial career in law enforcement, Scott Hettinger served in various capacities including Lieutenant, Detective Sergeant, Criminal Investigator, and Police Officer at the Town of Carolina Beach from April 2008 to October 2021, and as a Police Officer at the Town of Surf City from September 2006 to April 2008. Educationally, Scott Hettinger obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Western Carolina University between 2018 and November 2022 and has been engaged in Computer/Digital/Mobile Device/Vehicle Forensics studies at the National Computer Forensics Institute since 2016.
