Eileen McCarthy, CAE, currently serves as the Chair of the Cultural Arts Committee and a member of the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Advisory Board for the Town of Cary since October 2022. With extensive experience in leadership roles, McCarthy previously held positions such as Executive Director at The Strategic Management Society, managing a global association through significant transitions, and Managing Director of Knowledge and Impact at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where coordination across multiple teams was strengthened. Prior roles include Assistant Vice President for Planning at Northwestern University, leading board strategy and planning, and Assistant Vice President for Global Initiatives at the University of Chicago, where international centers were established. Additional experiences include directorial roles at H&R Block and the University of Chicago, emphasizing strategic initiatives and policy development. Eileen McCarthy holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Duke University.
