John Hankinson serves as Co-President of Carolina Fever, where leadership of a management team of over 20 directors involves oversight of marketing, ticket/database operations, gameday affairs, and special events/fundraising. Collaboration with UNC Athletics Marketing and Spirit Programs has focused on promoting student attendance at non-revenue sporting events, while partnerships with local businesses enhance student engagement through branded merchandise. In addition, John has held the role of Ticket and Database Operations Director, managing a database of over 27,000 users and facilitating a shift from a spreadsheet-based database to an app. Concurrently, John has worked for the Town of Cary as a Tennis Instructor II, coaching athletes, organizing large-scale events, and providing logistical support. Educationally, John is pursuing a dual degree in Economics and Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by certificates in Data Science and Quantitative Financial Economics.
