Joy Ennis

Joy Ennis is an experienced professional with a strong background in arts and cultural management. Currently serving as General Manager of Cary Downtown Park since September 2002, Joy previously held roles such as Operations & Program Supervisor at The Cary Theater, where significant renovations in 2014 transformed the venue into a key independent art house theater. As Festivals Coordinator, Joy developed and managed major cultural events, including arts and crafts festivals that attracted 65,000 attendees. In the early career, Joy worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Oxford University Press, overseeing the marketing of 77 science and medical journals in North America with a substantial budget. Joy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
