Justin Sherwood

Justin Sherwood is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in information technology management and support. Currently serving as Deputy CIO and Assistant Director for the Town of Cary since July 2015, Justin provides critical support to the Chief Information Officer and plays a key role in strategic planning and technology project management. Previous roles include Information Technology Business Relationship Manager, Operations Manager, Service Delivery Lead, and Virtual Network Analyst, showcasing a strong background in operational leadership and customer support. Prior experience includes positions at the Town of Garner, City of Goldsboro, Wayne Community College, Campbell University, and Mount Olive College. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Mount Olive.
