Austin Gilmore started their career as an intern at Virginia Tech Athletics, working under the Director of Operations for Women’s Basketball. Austin primarily served as an Away Team Liaison and assisted with various duties. Moving on, Austin transitioned to the Town of Christiansburg, VA as an Assistant Events Coordinator and Recreation Assistant. Prior to that, Austin gained experience at Alumni Hall Stores from August 2016 to December 2021, where Austin held the positions of Keyholder and Second Assistant Manager.
