Amy Shearin

Amy Shearin has extensive experience in parks and recreation management, currently serving as the Special Events and Engagement Coordinator, Emergency Management Coordinator, and previously as the Special Events and Marketing Manager and Recreation Coordinator for the Town of Clayton since March 2014. Prior to this role, Amy worked as a Customer Service Specialist for the Town of Apex from March 2012 to March 2014 and as a Recreation Programmer for the Town of Garner from November 2009 to March 2012. Amy holds a Master’s degree in Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism Management and a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management, both from North Carolina State University.
