Beth Franson

Beth Franson, GISP, has extensive experience in geographic information systems and urban planning, currently serving as a Planning Specialist and GIS Analyst for the Town of Clayton since July 2012. Prior to this role, Beth worked as a Planner for the Town of Clayton from June 2010 to June 2012, where responsibilities included reviewing site plans and producing maps for various boards. Beth's career in GIS began in September 1999 with the Town of Clayton as a GIS Technician, developing and maintaining databases and creating maps for special projects. Earlier experience includes serving as a Zoning Code Enforcement Officer and Mapper at Wake County GIS, where tasks involved issuing permits and cadastral mapping. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a minor in Urban Regional Planning from East Carolina University.
