Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson, GISP, has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems, currently serving as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst for the Town of Culpeper, Virginia since September 2022. Previously, Emily held similar roles as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst and GIS Technician at Spotsylvania County from February 2018 to August 2022. Prior to that, Emily worked as a Production Analyst at WSP USA and gained administrative experience as an Office Specialist II at Lord Fairfax Community College. Additional experience includes a role as a Provider Services Liaison at Child Care Aware® of America, and archaeological positions as an Archaeology Field Technician with the William and Mary Center for Archaeological Research and an intern with the Student Conservation Association. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Longwood University and a Professional Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from George Mason University.
