Robert T. Caponi

Robert T. Caponi is an experienced IT professional and emergency medical services instructor with a diverse background in both information technology and food service management. Currently serving as an IT Support Specialist for the Town of Darien since June 2023, Robert previously functioned as the Systems & Information Manager for the Shelton Police Department from November 2000 to June 2023, overseeing all aspects of IT operations. Alongside this, Robert has been actively involved with the Echo Hose Ambulance Training Center and Echo Hose Ambulance Corps, specializing in emergency medical training and services since 2014 and 1992, respectively. With a foundational education in Business Administration from Bryant University, Robert's career has also included significant roles in food service management across various institutions, demonstrating strong leadership and operational skills.
