Amanda McNeil

Legislative Coordinator at Town of East Gwillimbury

Amanda McNeil currently serves as a Legislative Coordinator for the Town of East Gwillimbury since August 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda held various positions within the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, including Procedural Services Assistant and Bilingual Transcriber/Reporter, where responsibilities included producing accurate transcripts of debates in both French and English. Additional experience includes work as a Curatorial Intern at the Canadian Automotive Museum, a Bilingual Information and Education Officer at the Legislative Assembly, and roles at the Royal Ontario Museum and other cultural institutions. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical and Ancient Studies from the University of Ottawa.
