George Gomola

George Gomola serves as the Program Director for the Bridgeport Fire Cadet Program, which aims to engage young adults interested in firefighting careers through a collaboration between the Bridgeport Fire Department, Wakeman Boys and Girls Club, and the Bridgeport Military Academy. With extensive experience in the fire service since 1980, George holds the position of Assistant Fire Chief at Fairfield CT Fire Department, Human Performance Director at Fairfield Fire Department, and Deputy Fire Marshal for the Town of Fairfield, where responsibilities include interpreting the CT Life Safety Code and conducting fire safety inspections. Additionally, George has teaching responsibilities at Bridgeport Military Academy and has previous coaching experience at Sacred Heart University. Education includes participation in the Senior Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration from Charter Oak State College.
