Farhad Tavassoli Aicp, Cfm

Farhad Tavassoli, AICP, CFM, is a seasoned planning professional with a comprehensive background in urban and environmental planning. Currently serving as Senior Planner for the Town of Fountain Hills since February 2020, Farhad previously worked for Maricopa County where responsibilities included managing a high volume of complex rezoning and site plan cases as well as leading utility-scale solar power generation projects. Prior roles include Associate Project Manager at the Flood Control District of Maricopa County, where significant contributions were made to improve floodplain management practices, and Planner III for the City of Goodyear, overseeing major development initiatives. Farhad holds a Master of Environmental Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Planning from Arizona State University.
