Town of Franklin
Chuck Allen has extensive work experience in the field of firefighting and emergency medical services. Chuck started their career as a firefighter in the town of Grafton, MA in 1995 and worked there until 2000. In 2000, they joined the Town of Franklin, Massachusetts as a firefighter paramedic and served in this role for 20 years until 2020. During their time in Franklin, they also served as a Fire Captain from 2018 to 2020 and was promoted to Battalion Chief in July 2020. In addition to their work in the Town of Franklin, Chuck Allen also worked as a paramedic for Global Medical Response from 2008 to 2019. Chuck also has experience as a business owner at Renewal Surfaces since 2004. Overall, Chuck Allen has a strong background in firefighting, emergency medical services, and leadership roles within the industry.
Chuck Allen is currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting at Columbia Southern University, with an expected completion date in 2022. Following this, they plan to continue their education at the same university in the field of Fire/Arson Investigation and Prevention, starting in 2023. In addition to their academic pursuits, Chuck has obtained a Paramedic certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in June 1994.
