Town Councilor at Town of Franklin

Cobi Frongillo serves as the Deputy Director of Renewable & Alternative Energy in the Department of Energy Resources for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since May 2021, previously holding the position of Research Analyst with the Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, and Energy. Cobi has been a Town Councilor for the Town of Franklin, MA since December 2020, contributing as Chair of the Arts & Culture Committee, Vice Chair for both the Master Plan and Economic Development Committees, and a member of the Budget Committee and Greater Attleboro Regional Transit Authority Advisory Board. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Analyst at BW Research Partnership, Inc. and as a Research Assistant in various capacities, along with a Graduate Student Researcher position at UMass Amherst. Cobi holds a Master's in Public Policy from UMass Amherst, a Graduate Certificate in Public Leadership from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor's in Political Science and Economics from UMass Amherst.
