Frisco is also a vacation destination with a focus on boating and festivals in the summer and an emphasis on skiing in the winter with 6 ski resorts within 30 minutes of Frisco including Copper Mountain (7 minutes), Breckenridge (15 minutes) and Vail (30 minutes). In order to support the influx of visitors and the quality of life for residents, the Town of Frisco provides police protection, public works roles, a full service marina and an Adventure Park with year-round activities including snow tubing, a beginner ski and ride hill, a bike park and a skate park. To support these functions, the Town of Frisco manages administrative, finance, human resource, community development, recreation, marketing and event planning responsibilities. The Town has a wide variety of jobs from seasonal positions to full time year-round work.
