Bob Ferguson

Bob Ferguson, CIT, is a seasoned professional in parks management and peer support, currently serving as Manager of Parks Development & Operations for the Town of Georgina since March 2022. In this role, Bob oversees the maintenance and development of various parks and recreational facilities. Additionally, as a Peer Support Specialist at Peer and Trauma Support Systems (P.A.T.S.S.) since January 2022, Bob specializes in training for peer support across diverse populations, including first responders and the LGBTQ2S community, adhering to guidelines set by The Mental Health Commission of Canada. Bob's extensive experience in municipal operations includes previous positions as Arena/Parks Manager and Facilities Manager for the Town of Uxbridge and as an HVAC Technician. Bob holds multiple certifications, including Certified Ice Technician and Playground Practitioner, and has a degree in Recreation - Parks Operation & Services from Seneca Polytechnic.
