Katherine Squires

Katherine Squires has extensive experience in recreation programming and youth services, with a career spanning over two decades. Since November 2015, Katherine has served as a Recreation Programmer focused on Older Adult Programs and Special Events for the Town of Georgina, having previously held roles such as Aquatic Reception and Healthy Kids Community Challenge Project Coordinator. Additionally, Katherine briefly worked as a Non-Clinical Lead for the York Region Public Health Vaccine Clinic in 2021. Prior positions include Youth Program Supervisor at Jericho Youth Services, where responsibilities encompassed supervision and program management for various youth initiatives, as well as roles in human resources management. Katherine's early career featured positions in youth leadership and program coordination, notably with the Boys and Girls Club of York Region and the Town of Georgina. Katherine holds a Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Centennial College, enhancing a solid foundation in parks, recreation, and leisure activities.
