Jim Hawbaker is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Network Engineer for the Town of Grand Chute since January 2021, Jim previously held positions as an Infrastructure Engineer at School Specialty, Inc., where responsibilities included managing Cisco Wireless, Prime, ISE, and Palo Alto systems across 12 locations nationwide. From December 1998 to December 2018, Jim contributed to the Appleton Area School District as both Network Architect and Director of Technology. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Network Technician at ISG and a Technician at Digital Equipment Corp. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy/Theology from Marquette University and additional education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
