Saverio Degiorgio

Saverio DeGiorgio is a caretaker/nature preserves at the Town of Greenburgh, NY since May 1993. Saverio manages manicured and natural landscapes totaling 400+ acres and maintains over 6 miles of trails throughout the park preserve system. Saverio also works as an arborist, assessing trees for safety and health, and planning and installing landscape improvements. At MP Engineers since April 2012, Saverio serves as a resident engineer, supervising crews working to manage invasive species in wild areas of NYC Parks and identifying native vegetation to preserve. Saverio holds a MAT in Biology from Manhattanville College and a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology/Animal Biology from State University of New York at Oswego.
