James Mahoney

James Mahoney has extensive experience in the field of information systems. James started their career as an Information Systems Administrator at Hamilton Stephens Steele & Martin, PLLC in 2002, where they handled server infrastructure, networking, security, and provided training and support to users. James also managed budget and implemented migrations of various systems and software. From 2013 to 2017, James worked as an Information Systems Consultant at Technologies Edge, Inc., meeting with clients to understand their technology goals, advising them on project planning, and overseeing migration and implementation projects. Since 2017, they have been serving as the Director of Information Systems at the Town of Harrisburg, NC.

James Mahoney completed coursework in Computer Science at Alfred University from 1998 to 1999, and also attended Youngstown State University from 1996 to 1998 for coursework in the same field. In addition to their education, they obtained a certification as a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor from the Charlotte Family Yoga Center in 2015, and became a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator through Microsoft in 2003.
