Carolyn Grant is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in marketing, public relations, and community outreach within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Communications Director for the Town of Hilton Head Island since April 2018, Carolyn previously held the role of Director of Public Relations at The Regional Medical Center and served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Coastal Carolina Hospital for nearly a decade. Additional experience includes directing marketing and community relations at Hilton Head Hospital and working as a Public Relations Manager at Chernoff Silver & Associates. Carolyn holds a PhD in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotions and Community Health Education from Walden University, an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University, and a BA in English from Spelman College.
