Jeffrey Hartberger

Jeffrey Hartberger has extensive experience in emergency management and service delivery, currently serving as Battalion Chief - Operations at Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue since 1984, where responsibilities include leading an all-hazard emergency service and managing special operations for large events. In addition to this role, Jeffrey Hartberger has held various positions within the organization, including Captain/EMT-P, Lieutenant/EMT-P, and Firefighter/EMT-I. Jeffrey has also been a Principal Member of the National Fire Protection Association 950/951 Technical Committee since its inception in 2008, contributing to standards for data exchange in the fire service. Furthermore, from 2013 to 2018, Jeffrey served as Chairman of the Data Oversight Committee for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control's Bureau of EMS, providing advisory support on EMS data and relevant issues.
