Courtney Lucas

Courtney Lucas currently serves as a Digital Communications and Marketing Specialist for the Town of Holly Springs, a position held since September 2025. Prior experience includes a role as Program Communications Specialist at the U.S. Department of Energy from September 2023 to September 2025, and as Corporate Communications Manager at BrandMuscle from October 2022 to September 2023. Courtney also worked at the Fayetteville Public Works Commission as Communications & Community Relations Associate from January 2012 to October 2022, and as a Multi-Media Journalist and News Producer at WAVY-TV from June 2007 to July 2011. Early career experience includes a position as Junior Reporter for The Virginian-Pilot from 2003 to 2004. Courtney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Norfolk State University.
