Heather Maloney

Heather Maloney is an experienced urban planner currently serving as a Senior Transportation Planner for the Town of Huntersville since August 2022. Prior to this role, Heather was a Senior Planner and Planner II at Alta Planning + Design from April 2015 to September 2022. Earlier in the career, Heather worked as an Americorps Vista at THINK Together, where responsibilities included coordinating the reapplication for the Federal Promise Neighborhood grant program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from UC Irvine, a Master of Public Health from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Davidson College.
