Anthony Chisari

Appointed to the position of Construction Official/Zoning Officer in August of 2017, Tony Chisari has been a Town of Kearny employee in the Construction Code Enforcement Department since 2001, previously holding the position of Building Subcode Official/Building Inspector for (16) years. Tony brings numerous years of work experience to the position of Construction Official/Zoning Officer. He, spent nearly (7) years working as a draftsman for a large, privately held engineering/manufacturing company, as well as having been a self-employed building contractor for more than (14) years, all prior to his becoming a license building official. In addition to holding multiple UCC licenses with the State of New Jersey, Tony holds certifications with the International Code Council, and received certification as a Zoning Official from Rutgers University in December of 2014.
